Today, FloSports, the innovator in live digital sports and original content, announced an exclusive partnership with the Big 12 Conference to provide live and on-demand coverage of the 2017 Big 12 Tennis and Outdoor Track & Field Championships on FloTennis.com and FloTrack.com, respectively.
The 2017 Big 12 Tennis Championships will be held at Headington Family Tennis Center in Norman, Okla. The event will span four days from April 27-30 and FloSports’ coverage will feature live action from every court during both the men’s and women’s events. The men’s finals on Saturday and the women’s finals on Sunday will air on Fox Sports. TCU and Oklahoma State captured the men’s and women’s top spot in 2016, respectively, and will look to defend their titles at this year’s event.
The 2017 Big 12 Men’s & Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championship will take place May 12-14 at the Rock Chalk Park in Lawrence, Kan. FloTrack will have separate channels to live stream both track and fields events across all three days. Last year, Texas swept the outdoor championship, with the women claiming their 10th Big 12 crown and the men their seventh. They will look to defend their title against top teams from Baylor and Texas Tech.
“The Big 12 Tennis and Outdoor Track & Field Championships showcase some of the top student-athletes in the world,” said Phil Wendler, FloSports SVP of Global Rights Acquisition and Subscription. “FloSports is honored to continue our partnership with the Big 12 Conference to produce and live stream these exciting events to a global audience.”
“The Big 12 is excited to be partnered with FloSports for the production and distribution of our upcoming championships,” Big 12 commissioner Bob Bowlsby said. “Through FloSports, our programs and student-athletes will be exposed to a broad audience of fans.”
The partnership between FloSports and the Big 12 Conference officially launched in January 2017 and lasts through the end of each sports’ season in 2017.
