FloRugby has 80+ matches and 30 days of live rugby coverage remaining in 2018
AUSTIN, Texas — October 15, 2018 — Today, FloSports, the innovator in live digital sports and original content, announced that FloRugby.com will offer live and on-demand coverage of 45 top-level matches this fall spanning the HSBC Women’s World Sevens Series, The Rugby Weekend, and all Autumn Internationals matches for the France and Scotland men’s national teams.
Coverage of the HSBC World Rugby Women’s Sevens Series games begin Oct. 20-21, 2018, in Colorado. FloRugby will air 34 matches in the U.S. This is the new opening round of the global circuit and features the best 12 women’s 7s teams in the world.
FloRugby.com is the exclusive home of the USA Eagles and The Rugby Weekend, which features three matches from Soldier Field in Chicago on Nov. 3, 2018. This will be the first time ever that three full international matches have been played in one day in a large-venue stadium. Marquee matches include world No. 5 USA Women’s Eagles vs. world No. 1 New Zealand Black Ferns, as well as the USA Men’s Eagles vs. the Maori All Blacks. FloRugby has exclusive global rights to both matches outside of New Zealand. In addition, FloRugby has exclusive U.S. broadcast rights to the other match including men’s world No. 2 Ireland vs. men’s world No. 14 Italy.
FloRugby has expanded its international coverage thanks to a partnership with Pitch International to exclusively broadcast 12 international test matches in 2018 and 2019 in the U.S.. This includes all men’s French and Scottish Autumn Internationals in 2018 and six men’s World Cup warmup matches in 2019, featuring England (2 matches), Scotland (1 match), Ireland (1 match), Wales (1 match), and France (1 match). In addition to these matches, FloRugby will also be streaming all England men’s and women’s internationals in autumn 2018.
