FloRacing to Broadcast Over 30 Live Races Annually through 2025
AUSTIN, Texas — June 19, 2019 — Today, FloSports, the innovator in live digital sports and original content, and Port City Raceway announced a six-year partnership to provide live and on-demand coverage of events on FloRacing.com. Fans will have access to more than 30 live events per year that take place between March and October through 2025.
Known for its high banked close racing, Port City Raceway is a 1/8th-mile clay oval racetrack located in Tulsa, OK. Since the 1970s, many drivers in Port City Raceway’s 40-year race history found success in the Powri Midgets, ASCS Sprint Cars, USAC Midgets & Sprint Cars, World of Outlaws, and Nascar Truck Series.
“FloSports is excited to continue to expand upon its racing content coverage of motorsports, bringing even more events to FloRacing’s live event schedule,” FloSports Senior Director, Global Rights Acquisition, Monica Bloodgood said. “This partnership is a great example of how media rights can be used to expose and engage hundreds of thousands of FloSports subscribers from all over the world to Port City Raceway and its events.”
“Our partnership with FloSports means a lot not only to the race track and drivers that compete here but for the sport in general,” Port City Raceway Media Production Manager and Announcer Ryan ‘Hoss’ Merz said. “For the track, it is an opportunity to showcase our facility to those who may not have heard about us and attract them to come race or spectate with us. For our drivers, it gives them the chance to show their talents to potential sponsors, teams, and family members that may not be able to attend regularly. And for the sport, it introduces fans and drivers alike that may not know about micro sprint racing. We have to thank Kevin Miller and Levi Jones along with USAC for introducing us to the FloRacing team.”
