FloSports will stream the biggest event in youth football — the FBU National Championship — along with Regional Championships, Quarterfinals, and Semifinals on the Path To Naples
AUSTIN, Texas — September 4, 2019 — Today FloSports, the innovator in live digital sports and original content, and the FBU National Championship – the biggest event in youth football – announced a broadcast partnership to provide live and on-demand content and coverage of the Path To Naples on FloFootball.com.
The Path To Naples is youth football’s biggest event, starting with more than 32 teams and more than 3,500 sixth, seventh, and eighth-grade athletes from all over the United States competing for the one true national championship in youth football. The path leads to Naples, Florida where the best eight teams from all three grade levels compete in the Football Paradise of Naples, Florida’s Paradise Coast, for a National Championship.
The tournament begins Thanksgiving weekend each year at eight regional locations. One team each from the sixth, seventh and eighth-grade brackets advances from their Regional Championships to Championship Week in Naples for the right to compete for the National Championship belt. The coverage on FloFootball.com begins with the Regional Championships at the eight regional locations across the U.S. and culminates with coverage and analysis from Naples, Florida, with the quarters, semis, and National Championship games at all three grade levels.
“With the wide reach of viewership and digital innovation offered by FloSports, this partnership will give the country the opportunity to see the next generation of elite football players and we’re absolutely thrilled,” stated Steve Quinn, President of Football University. “In its brief history, the FBU National Championship boasts alumni such as Trevor Lawrence, JT Daniels, James Cook, and hundreds of other FBS and FCS players. The FBU National Championship is where many future D1 athletes debut on the national stage. This partnership provides these athletes the exposure their talent deserves on the biggest stage in youth football, the Path To Naples.”
“Football University has put together a first-class developmental program for youth football players from around the country,” FloSports Director of Global Rights and Acquisitions Lindsey Ross said. “We are truly excited about this partnership, which allows families and friends to support the youth and all that the athletes have already accomplished. In addition, we hope that the FloFootball coverage supports advancement within their young football careers.”
