Deal includes live and on-demand coverage of Swimming and Diving, Gymnastics, Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field, and Wrestling
IRVING, TX — February 15, 2018 — The Big 12 Conference today announced an agreement with FloSports, the innovator in live and digital sports and original content, to live stream the 2018 Big 12 championships for swimming & diving on FloSwimming.com, indoor and outdoor track & field on FloTrack.com, wrestling on FloWrestling.com, and gymnastics on FloGymnastics.com. The deal is an expansion of FloSports’ agreement with the Big 12 Conference to live stream some of the biggest and most competitive championships in the country.
As part of the agreement, FloSports will provide live and on-demand coverage from each of the five championships:
- Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championship — Austin, Texas — Feb. 21-24, 2018
- Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Championship — Ames, Iowa — Feb. 23-24, 2018
- Big 12 Wrestling Championship — Tulsa, Okla. — March 3-4, 2018
- Big 12 Gymnastics Championship — Ames, Iowa — March 18, 2018
- Big 12 Outdoor Track and Field Championship — Waco, Texas — May 11-12, 2018
“The Big 12 Winter and Spring Championships are the longest-running Power 5 multi-championships in the nation,” FloSports SVP Rights and Acquisition Strategy Adam Fenn said. “We’re excited to continue the momentum and give fans worldwide more of the unmatched championship-level coverage and news of their favorite collegiate teams and student-athletes.”

The Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championship will feature some of the best teams in the country. Among the competitors is the University of Texas at Austin men’s and women’s teams, which include two gold medal Olympians, Joseph Schooling and Townley Haas, as well as Big 12 Conference Champion, Rebecca Millard.
The Big 12 Gymnastics Championship will feature the No. 1 ranked team in the nation, the Oklahoma Sooners, with No. 1 all-around, vault, and bar gymnast, Maggie Nichols. Other schools competing include The University of Denver (No. 10), featuring gymnast Maddie Karr, ranked No. 9 in the all-around. Iowa State (No. 22), and West Virginia (No. 31).
The Big 12 Wrestling Championship will feature South Dakota State’s Seth Gross, who is ranked No. 1 at 133 pounds, Oklahoma State’s Dean Heil, who is ranked No. 6 at 141 pounds, as well as the University of Wyoming’s Bryce Meredith, who is currently ranked No. 1 at 141 pounds. Notable ranked schools at the wrestling championship include Oklahoma State (No. 7), Wyoming (No. 12), South Dakota State (No. 15), and Northern Iowa (No. 16).
Notable teams competing at the Big 12 Indoor Track & Field Championship include the Texas Tech men’s team (No. 4), the University of Kansas men’s team (No. 18), the University of Texas women’s team (No. 15), as well as Kansas State and Iowa State women’s teams, which are currently tied for No. 20 in the country. These teams will make their appearance again in May at the Big 12 Outdoor Track and Field Championship.
