FloHockey.tv to serve as exclusive distribution partner for Atlantic Hockey and Hockey East
AUSTIN, Texas – January 10, 2019 — Today, FloSports, the innovator in live digital sports and original content, announced two milestone broadcast partnerships with Atlantic Hockey and Hockey East to bring live and on-demand coverage of college hockey’s best student-athletes to FloHockey.tv.
Through the multiyear agreement with Atlantic Hockey, FloHockey will air games through 2022, streaming more than 200 home and away games and spotlighting schools such as Air Force, American International College, Army, Bentley, Canisius, Holy Cross, Mercyhurst, Niagara, Robert Morris, Rochester Institute of Technology, and Sacred Heart.
FloHockey will also broadcast the 2018-19 season playoffs for Hockey East, serving as the exclusive distribution partner. Games will begin March 15, featuring eight teams from the conference who have advanced to the playoffs to compete in one round of best-of-three series.

As one of the premier college conferences in the country, Division I Hockey East features 11 teams from schools including: University of Massachusetts, Boston College, Northeastern University, Providence College, Boston University, University of Massachusetts Lowell, University of Maine, University of New Hampshire, Merrimack College, University of Connecticut and University of Vermont.
“This partnership with FloSports will enhance our 2019 post-season, primarily for our Hockey East fans but for college hockey in general,” Hockey East commissioner Joe Bertagna said. “Given that we are celebrating our 35th season, this agreement is consistent with 35 years of innovation and growth for our conference.”
These deals further cement FloHockey as the No. 1 destination for college hockey with more than 1,000 college hockey games broadcasted from the Big Ten, WCHA, NCHC, and now Atlantic Hockey and Hockey East. Nearly all of the current Top 10 ranked schools in college hockey will be on FloHockey in 2019.

About Hockey East
The Hockey East Association is an 11-team Division I college men’s hockey conference founded in 1984 and a 10-team Division I women’s league which began play in 2002-03. The men’s league has won nine NCAA championships in the past 25 years including Providence College in 2015 at TD Garden in Boston. Since 1999, Hockey East has won seven NCAA Championships with 15 NCAA Championship Game appearances, while placing 25 teams in the Frozen Four and 68 teams in the NCAA Tournament during that time. Overall, Hockey East has sent 112 teams to the NCAA Tournament since its inaugural season, more than any other conference in that span.
